Taking Home a "Crushie" For work with the Viking Alchemist Meadery

I am wildly excited to bring home a "Crushie" from the Craft Beer Marketing Awards for my work with the Viking Alchemist Meadery! We've won a gold for "Best Use of Social Media: Beer Influencer of the Year."

Mead has yet to reach the level of penetration that beer and wine has, in our daily lives, but that’s been the purpose of social media. Beyond marketing for sales and reputation, our social media is used to help educate the Georgia consumer about mead, it’s history and why it’s worth celebrating.

Today, The Viking Alchemist leads all other meaderies, in Georgia, in terms of followers, activity and engagement. We have squarely occupied the position of “Georgia’s Mead” across social media and SEO.
